Why I started SloanOps

Local businesses deserve a real person in their corner.

I started SloanOps to help local businesses get seen and get practical technical work done without making the process feel distant or complicated. The goal is to understand the business, build or fix something useful, and become a dependable person to call when technology needs attention.

The person behind the business

A systems professional who learned the website side.

My background is in systems, support, and automation, not traditional front-end design. I have more than eight years of IT experience, including over six years supporting production AWS and Windows environments for multi-tenant software used by government customers.

That work taught me how to respond when something breaks, make complicated systems understandable, automate repeatable work, document decisions, monitor what matters, and keep improving after delivery. Those are the same habits I bring to every SloanOps engagement.

I learned website development because a useful site needs more than a polished first impression. I expanded SloanOps beyond websites because businesses also need help with applications, equipment, vendors, cloud systems, and technical decisions that do not fit neatly into a hosting package.

Experience behind the work

Built on support, reliability, and practical problem-solving.

My career has grown from hands-on customer support into production operations, cloud infrastructure, and platform automation. SloanOps brings that experience down to a personal scale for small businesses and business partners.

018+ years in IT

Started close to the customer

My early roles included hands-on technical support for Apple products, QuickBooks Enterprise, software installations, upgrades, and user issues. I learned to listen first and explain technical problems without hiding behind jargon.

02Production operations

Reliability became the job

Since 2019, my work has centered on production AWS and Windows environments, incident response, monitoring, migrations, root-cause analysis, and keeping services dependable for the people relying on them.

03Systems and automation

Make the repeatable parts repeatable

I work with AWS, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, identity, and self-hosted infrastructure. That deeper operating experience gives SloanOps room to grow beyond websites as clients need more.

04Education and certification

A Florida-built technology career

I earned an Associate in Science in Computer Information Technology from Valencia College and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technology from Seminole State College. I am also an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.

What we believe

Practical work, clear expectations.

Good operations should feel calm from the client side: visible ownership, sensible boundaries, and no mystery about what happens next.

01

Work with me directly

There is no sales handoff or rotating support queue. The person you meet is the person doing the work.

02

Build for the relationship

A launch should begin a dependable working relationship, not end a transaction.

03

Explain things clearly

You should understand your choices without needing to become a website, application, or infrastructure expert.

04

Keep improving

Businesses and their technology evolve. I stay available to support, adjust, and build what comes next.

Florida, always

Born here, raised here, and building here.

I was born and raised in Florida, graduated from Ocoee High School, studied at Valencia College and Seminole State College, and spent time in the U.S. Navy. Today, I call Deltona home.

SloanOps is a young company, but the experience behind it is not. I want to use that experience to form long-term relationships with local owners and business partners: one conversation, one useful improvement, and one dependable result at a time.

You will always know who you are working with.

SloanOps is intentionally personal. I keep the relationship direct, set clear expectations, and stay involved for the long term. The person who reviews the need is also the person responsible for the approved work.
